and if you ever said you missed me then don’t say you never lied.

April 15, 2010

If you haven’t already, please vote here and help me decide which outfit to enter into a fashion competition where I could win a trip to New York (and cross one thing off my 21 things to do before I’m 21!!)

“We go out with someone, we get excited about them, and then they do something that mildly disappoints us. Then they keep doing a lot more things that disappoint us. Then we go into hyper-excuse mode for weeks or possibly months, because the last thing we want to think is that this great man that we are so excited about is in the process of turning into a creep. We try to come up with some kind of explanation for why they’re behaving this way, any explanation, no matter how ridiculous, than the one explanation that’s the truth: He’s just not that into me.”- He’s just not that into you.

I’m in a bit of a better place today. Still tired and a bit moody, but better. I’ve been revising all day (on and off) and I’m a bit bored and frustrated, but I think I’m going to go have a nap soon cause I’m a bit tired and I’m going out tonight :]]]

I have new boots!! Yay!! I don’t know how much wear I’ll get out of them over the next few weeks with it getting towards summer but I think they’ll be good for next winter when I’m in lovely Minnesota :]]]

playsuit: H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams leather jacket- H&M, boots- Xavi, necklace- primark belt- new look

I adore this playsuit. In fact, this outfit. It’s a perfect blend of summery florals with a hard edge. I can never get enough of that!! That’s kinda my statement style. I always describe it as “girly with an edge”, and this is definitely what this is!!

Ahh big love to Kristi over at Accio Hagrid, who is amazing and stylish and lovely and my new favourite blogger :]]] She gave me a lovely shout out here, and we’re talking of doing something together after our exams finish!! Watch this space!!

Oh and I got an email about the exciting opportunity I mentioned a few days ago. After exams I will reveal all!!Β And as a proud Northern girl, I have been added to the blogroll at Fashion Looks North!! Check it out :]]]

Talking of exams, I’d better get back to revision, or napping. Probably the napping- it sounds much more tempting!!

Oh and if you haven’t heard them yet, check out the Pretty Reckless- Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl’s band. Their song Make Me Wanna Die is my new favourite song ever. Is there anything that girl can’t do? Love her!!

I so adore you for quoting “He’s Just Not That Into You.” I absolutely love that book. But I love your ensemble even more. The floral romper topped with the leather jacket is just magical. Love!! πŸ™‚

you look so pretty! that floral romper is my dream piece for the spring and summer. must find one soon! as far as your comment about taking photos in public with my tripod, well, you just have to do it! i usually like to find a place that are somewhat discrete, but sometimes i find great spots in public areas. if i can’t get anyone else to take the photos, i usually just suck it up and do it! I ignore everyone else around me and just get the photos i need. it’s embarrassing, no doubt, but the finished product is always worth it.

ahh really? thank you very much :]]]
ahh i love it so much!! i’ve wanted one for ages too- it took me so long to find one that i like!! I can’t wait to wear it with a denim jacket, tan gladiators and a denim jacket for summer :]]]
ahh i just got so embarrassed last time!! i find it’s so much easier when someone else is taking the photos for you, but no-one else is as dedicated to my blog as I am!! But when i’m alone with my tripod i just feel so silly posing. hence why most of my photos are in my garden or house!! I think i need to go to someone desolate and quiet :]]]
yeah, you’re totally right. i know having a lovely setting will totally make up for the few minutes of feeling stupid!!
thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog :]]] i’ve been following yours for a while but today was the first time i’d read it and i think it’s wonderful!!
you have such amazing style :]]]
i’ll definitely be reading your blog more often :]]]
